Sadly we report

Last evening the student body was sent home after closing prayers. Moments later just after 6pm three students from the Juan Wesley School were tragically killed as they walked home along the Pan American highway. They were struck by a semi trailer truck that lost control. It sped through the busy Cuatro Caminos intersection striking cars, utility poles and several students before finally coming to a stop by the bridge not far from the present day school. All of the students were part of the afternoon  Jr. High (basico). Two of the student were brothers.

Oh God we do not understand. Why?

Working on my school

Last week the local church came out to the construction site for a work day. Here is the status: The building is almost enclosed and work is underway to landscape and finish many interior appointments. The first and second floors have windows and glass. The interior doors have been hung and have locks; the plastering is almost complete on the second floor. Thanks to the Rolling Plains group for their hard work helping with some of the above and hanging the gutters.

The work continues in a race against time to open for January 09 classes.

Hot Sauce. Buy a bottle and help build a school.

There are times when a little spice can make a big difference to the whole meal. We are introducing a series of hot sauces that will add zip to any meal and they have the added benefit of helping Colegio Juan Wesley.  Now that is a powerful hot sauce.

Introducing the first three of many sauces that has a flavor for every pallet.

Sarita’s Serrano, Conchita’s Cayenne and Lorenzo’s Lime.

We are setting up a procurement process but until it is ready these flavors are available in any mix of 12 bottles for $60/case plus shipping by call 800-721-4757.

Thank you Rocky Mountain House Team

Eleven strong you made a contribution to Colegio Juan Wesley. Your timely arrival with just the right skills confirmed in our minds that this is a God project. He has provided the right help at the right time. We were ready to lay a floor but suddenly realized that the plumbing was far more complicated than we realized. Your expertise in redesigning both the supply and waste water system will make the plumbing efficient and workable!   Thank you too for putting in the last two inner classroom walls on the third floor.
